Using laser to cut gussets and even giving them a “ident” marked into the gusset for easy placement.

This was somewhat the start of my CAD work for this aircraft, in that we were more interested in the kids learning how to build the plane vs how to interpret the intention of the plans. Perhaps only a slight difference in end result, but saved many hours in the process, as they quickly could access what the end result was to look like.
